Lucky returns to Cygnet Theatre’s stage as Young Scrooge, Peter Crotchet, and Others in “A Christmas Carol”. This time he shares the stage with the Artistic Director of Cygnet, the brilliant Sean Murray as Scrooge.

Lucky will be making his debut with Musical Theatre West’s production of The Wizard of Oz. He will be the acrobatic flying Monkey in Command, Nikko (Ensemble).
June (2023)
Allen Lucky Weaver joins the Cygnet Theatre Staff as their new Casting Director.

Lucky puts on his choreographer hat to help mount Paulo K Tiról’s On This Side of The World. This will be Lucky’s first time choreographing a full scale production. Thank you always to his familia at East West Players for this responsibility.

Lucky will be playing the role of Helga and understudying the role of the Emcee in Cygnet’s production of Cabaret. *Lucky performed as Emcee for one week of the run.

Lucky will play Joey in the World Premiere of “Eighty-Sixed” at Diversionary Theatre in San Diego. Book by Jeremy J. King. Music and Lyrics by Sam Salmond. Direction by Kevin Newbury and Choreography by Raja Feather Kelly. Music Direction Steven Cuevas.

With COVID-19 Orders in place, Lucky - along with thousands of other live performance artists / technical artists / theater related professionals - is patiently waiting for live performances to come back into existence. He is utterly heart broken with all of the lives affected and lost in the past couple of months from this devastating virus.
In the past few months, he has participated in many online and zoom events. Please be on the lookout on social media for any updates or feel free to reach out on social media.
February - March (2020)
Unfortunately La Cage Aux Folles has been postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We had one preview, and our doors were shut on March 12, 2020. Please check back in the future for more updates.
2020 is starting off strong. Lucky will get to reprise the role of Jacob in La Cage Aux Folles down at Cygnet Theater in San Diego. Come check out the amazing show and tickets can be purchased here. Come see the love March 11 - May 2.

November (2019)
Come see Allen take on the role of Gloria in another Boni Alvarez masterpiece called “In All Her Gloria” at LACMA. Theatre at the Museum is Moving Arts Theater Company’s first time working with the museum. “In All her Gloria” directed by Dana Schwartz is just one of nine other plays going on this evening, utilizing different areas of LACMA as the set.

Allen will be making his Directorial Debut with a piece he holds near and dear to his heart. Come see StanD written by Christopher Aguilar, at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. October 24 and 26. Its FREE just pay for parking.

Allen will be making his very first non musical theater related drag debut, that’s right for the first time, she will be singing in her very own act. Thank you to Anthea Neri, for this incredible opportunity to shine.

Allen will be participating in this year’s Hollywood Fringe with Marcus Johns’ new musical Viral. He has always wanted to originate a role and workshop a new musical. Finally started classes at Cirque School LA. Handstands 101 Trying to keep up with the ever changer field of musical theater and adding acrobatic tricks (hopefully within the year).

Did the Margie Haber Weekend Intensive @ Margie Haber Studios and still studying with Margie, today. Her weekend was amazing and life changing. It worked for me, and if you want to pursue acting in Los Angeles, you should try out her studio.
